A brief update before we resume our travels tomorrow. We've had a lovely time catching up with dear family and friends. A few piccys of some of our favourite people following.

How does a gorgeous girl-around-town celebrate a 30th birthday? Daughter Emelia decided a trip to Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New York was the only way to go. Mil, Lissy, Tim and Scot jetted out on June 8 (her birthday was June 10) so a pre-birthday party was quickly organised in Sydney. It was also Lissy's birthday on June 14. A double celebration.

Another birthday, another party, this time for the delectable Deb on June 9. A few Ravenswood girls and good friends gathered at the Greengate Hotel to help her blow out the  candles.

 June is a crazy month for birthdays. There was one more to celebrate: eldest sister Geepie on June 13. Nieces Anna and Yolanda joined sisters Rob, Geep and I.

We've also spent several weeks at Narromine with Garry's folks - Frank and Ivy (Wally and Gina). Gina has been in hospital for almost two months while some nasty leg sores have healed. She is on the mend now and hoping to be home in a few weeks.

We didn't manage to see everyone - and I missed a few photo opportunities - but we'll be back in October for the arrival of number one grandchild. Hopefully we'll catch up with more peeps then.

Now it's time to move on. Tomorrow, June 20, is exactly 12 months since we left Greenwell Point. Below is the map of our travels so far - 42,000km in one year. 

The adventure continues. Queensland here we come.
