Poinciana Place 2020-2021
Building is slow .... but worth waiting for!
2020: It started in the garage which had to be raised 30cms

| This is the uplifted garage ...below is the process. |

| Up she goes: Garry came up with an ingenious way to raise the roof .... by jacking it up and reinforcing the existing posts. Clever boy this Garry Man! |

| Graffiti Garry. Wherever there is concrete you will find this etching! Another project involved keeping the neighbour's pesky chooks out. The Great Fence of Poinciana Place was erected by Garry and Jen.    |
2021: Next on the radar was the back deck, outbuildings and old tanks.

| It was time to move the old corrugated iron tank. Again Garry came up with a solution. Using two steel girders (on right of the tank) we slid it down the hill to its final resting place! Amazing! No photos as too busy. |

| In its final resting place beside our drinking water tanks. The old tank will be used to store water for the garden. |

| The other tank was beyond repair. Garry cutting it into pieces using an angle grinder. |

The pavers and wooden deck were next in Garry's sights...

And that's as far as we got by the end of 2021.
Rain and problems getting trades people stopped further progress.
But there's always 2022!!
Despite the Covid 19 pandemic some family were able to visit.
The Upsavs skipped a trip to PP in 2020 due to the virus but managed a quick holiday in March 2021.

It was impossible for Sebastian and Mel to visit but I managed a quick trip to Melbourne in May 2021.

Mil fled the South Coast in July 2021 as Covid took hold again.
She came for two weeks and stayed three months!
Hence her appearance in building pics.
We had a lot of fun while she was here. 💖💖

By the way, Lucy is quite the swimming dog these days.
Terrified when she came to us four years ago, she now loves it...
